This is a Hybrid course approved to do partial online training with lab skills, mental health & dementia classes in person. Students can begin at any point during the month. Training will provide DSHS certifications in Mental health, Dementia, Orientation and Safety, and core basic. This training is the minimum requirement for employment with home care agencies, assisted living facilities, adult family home caregivers and owners, individual state-contracted personal care workers, group homes, and any other direct care workers providing home or community-based services to the elderly or people with functional or developmental disabilities. We provide interactive, hands-on learning for our students.
