HCA Learning Plan 4
This learning plan is designed for caregivers who have already completed Orientation Safety training and want to complete their HCA certification using Nurse Delegation.
Learning Plan 4 is a partial training pathway that allows students to apply previously completed training toward the 75-hour HCA requirement, helping them avoid repeating coursework and complete certification more efficiently.
This option is ideal for caregivers who have completed Orientation Safety and are continuing their training.
This plan is best for caregivers working in home care settings or those who have already completed or do not require Mental Health and Dementia training.
This Learning Plan Includes:
Core Basic training
Online skills lab with video demonstrations and assignments
Nurse Delegation
Nurse Delegation Special Focus on Diabetes
Students will be required to submit their 5-hour Orientation and Safety certificate in order to complete this program. Upon completion, students will receive a DSHS 75 hour Home Care Aide (HCA) certificate.
