The Parent Education and Family Support Certificate offers students certification upon completion of some of the core courses in the Family Support Program. The focus of this certificate is to provide skills needed to provide support, education, and mentoring to parents and families in school or human service settings. The certificate is primarily designed for those who already have an associates degree or higher, with coursework which included child development. The certificate is for those who seek courses to enhance competency in working with families. This certificate requires successful completion of a minimum of 35 credits as outlined.
