HCA Learning Plan 2 is a 75-hour Washington State DSHS-approved training program designed for individuals working in caregiving roles that involve nurse-delegated tasks. This program includes Orientation and Safety Training (5 hours), Core Basic Training (58 hours), and two self-paced Nurse Delegation courses - Nurse Delegation (9 hours) and Nurse Delegation Focus on Diabetes (3 hours). It prepares students not only for Home Care Aide certification but also for responsibilities commonly performed under nurse delegation.
