This Pharmacy Technician Training provides an in-depth understanding of the roles, responsibilities, and workflows at each of the five Pharmacy workstations in preparation for the State Certification. Participants are provided first-hand experience with the tools needed to manage the workflows and are able to identify the steps involved for each workstation interaction. Our Mock Pharmacy practice sessions along with role-plays for each module ensure exceptional customer service and patient safety. The Pre-National Certification Exam (PTCB) Training Program equips participants with the skills and knowledge required to become a National Certified Pharmacy Technician. Each session prepares students by focusing on the importance of proper procedures while assisting the Pharmacist as well as serving patients. This course includes extensive math preparation by way of in-depth practice sessions and interactive online flashcards and crossword puzzles to reinforce key concepts. Reading Pre-work assigned from (1) The APhA Complete Review for the Pharmacy Technician, newest edition, (2) The APhA Pharmacy Technician Certification Quick Study Guide, newest edition, and (3) The APhA Complete Math Review for the Pharmacy Technician, newest edition.
