Welcome to the exciting world of Concept Art. In this Concept Art course you will learn why concept artists play such an important role in the Animation, Visual Effects and Video Game Industries. Their mission is to inspire, to generate ideas, to make people believe. Concept artists are at the starting point of the studio pipeline, they are planning and designing the next blockbuster movie or what could be the best selling game.

Prerequisite courses and other requirements

  • High school graduate (with transcript), or 19 years of age or older.
  • A portfolio must showcase the student's five (5) favorite pieces of art (sketches, paintings, modeling, drawings, etc). If a student has no portfolio, they can gain admission by successfully passing the Introduction to Digital Arts course with a minimum grade of B- (73%).   • Prospective students must successfully pass the general assessment test in our application form. The test assesses Computer Knowledge, Internet knowledge, English reading, and Writing skills.
