Prerequisite courses and other requirements

Minimum qualifications must be clearly stated and applied in a nondiscriminatory manner [WAC 296-05-015(17)]. Minimum of 18 years of age. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent at the time of application. Transcripts must show courses and grades. Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the occupation with or without reasonable accommodation and without endangering the safety or health of co-workers. Applicants shall submit proof of the education and age qualifications to the Committee before their application will be considered complete. This must be done within 60 days of date of application. Applicants not completing the application within 60 days will be required to reapply.
