Course Design:This course is designed for trainees who desire additional hands-on training and job placement assistance. It provides students with an additional week of hands-on training which allows for practical application of newly acquired skills and knowledge as well as assistance in developing a professional resume, applying for jobs, and interview preparation.*This course is designed to exceed the ELDT course requirements set forth by the FMCSA and WA DOT.Course Objective:Students will be able to demonstrate proficiency of the essential skills necessary to safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle as well as demonstrate knowledge proficiency of the topics covered in the Classroom Theory Training. Students must possess the following: a valid drivers license from the state in which they reside, a Class A permit, undergo a physical by an approved health care provider to obtain a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card, pass a DOT drug test, obtain a full motor vehicle driving record for the last three years, and demonstrate an English language proficiency of 3+.
