The Nursing Assistant Certificate Program is a comprehensive, hands-on training experience designed to prepare individuals for a rewarding career in healthcare as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Students gain the skills needed to provide compassionate, safe, and effective patient care in a variety of healthcare settings. As part of the program, students will also earn their Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, further enhancing their readiness for entry-level healthcare roles.

Prerequisite courses and other requirements
Students in this certificate program must possess the following prior to enrollment in the program: 18 years of age, Valid Washington State ID, DSHS Background Check, Washington State Patrol clearance check, US Bachelor's Degree, College Level English Composition or CASAS Assessment score of 236 or higher, Current Tuberculosis Test (TB): 2 step method, 2 different injections, 2-3 weeks apart, Flu vaccination for current season, Uniform, text book and class supplies, Health insurance, both injury and sickness, is required for participation in the program.
