Home Care Aide Certification

Spokane Colleges ETPL
Obtain your HCA in 75 hours of course work. Training will provide DSHS certifications in dementia care, mental health care, navigating challenging behaviors, and traumatic brain injuries. This course is the minimum requirement for employment with home care agencies, assisted living facilities, adult family home caregivers and owners, individual state contracted personal care workers, group homes, and any other direct care workers providing home or community-based services to the elderly or people with functional or developmental disabilities.
