Hybrid Massage Therapy Program

Our Washington State approved hybrid massage program offers students the convenience of completing some of their massage program at home on their schedule. Our virtual classroom offers students a quality learning platform with a blend of live stream video classes, pre-recorded classes, interactive chat rooms and forums, and online quizzes. Upon completion of specific online modules, students will be eligible to begin attending the in-person skills classes. Our in-person massage therapy skills classes teach students the practical aspects of massage therapy to include: client draping, Swedish massage techniques, deep tissue massage, clinical injury assessment skills, clinical massage therapy techniques.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and complete the school’s admissions process prior to enrollment. Students must also meet any applicable Washington State requirements for massage therapy education and participation in clinical training activities.

Certification/license test preparation provided

Students in the program receive preparation for the Massage Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx), which is required for massage therapy licensure in Washington State. Test preparation is integrated throughout the curriculum and includes review of anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, pathology, massage theory and practice, ethics, client assessment, and Washington State laws and regulations. Students also participate in practice quizzes, class reviews, and guided exam preparation activities designed to help build confidence and readiness for the licensing examination.
