Web Development Fundamentals

Nucamp Coding Bootcamp ETPL
Nucamp's Web Fundamentals Bootcamp is a 4-week intensive intro to web development in a supportive environment. Build your first website. See if a career in coding is right for you! Students with basic computer literacy but no coding knowledge will use HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap to build a functional web project, adding marketable skills to their resum right out of the gate. Graduates will be able to do freelance work and begin applying for CMS-based front-end developer jobs while they continue their coding journey into more advanced programming concepts on a solid foundation. Students learn the following technologies and their languages: (1) HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) - the standard language for creating web pages and web applications; (2) CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) - a language used for describing the presentation of a document written in HTML; (3) Bootstrap - used to make dynamic, mobile-first webpages; (4) Visual Studio Code - the overall most popular development environment, used throughout the course to write code. Graduating from the Fundamentals Bootcamp fulfills the prerequisites for Nucamp's Front End and Full Stack Bootcamps. Must have own internet connection. Must have your own computer, be computer literate.
