Prerequisite courses and other requirements

A minimum of 90 earned credits in courses numbered 100 or above is required to complete the FCA degree. A minimum of 25 of the last 45 credits must be earned at Pierce College/Bates Technical College. Students must earn a minimum of a 2.0 in each FCA course to complete the FCA degree. A letter grade 'P' for Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) credit can be used for FCA core or elective requirements but may not transfer to another institution. Students intending to transfer to a four year institution should check with that institution to determine transferable use of PLA credit.
