Students who complete the Growing certificate will be well versed in the skills required for the production of plants in a greenhouse setting. Botany, plant propagation, integrated pest management techniques, soil science, and pruning will be introduced in a real-world production setting. Upon completion, students will be ready to enter into entry-level plant production positions.
