Middle Way's Chinese Herbal Medicine Certificate Program (CCHM) is a post-graduate 2 year modular program in the study of Chinese Herbs and Formulas. The format of this program utilizes monthly weekend intensives with integrated clinical schedule to effectively train students to become proficient and knowledgeable Chinese Herbal Practitioners. Successful completion of the CCHM will qualify graduates to sit for the NCCAOM Chinese Herbology Examination. Students will learn over 300 single herbs, 160 formulas, and methods of preparation, dispensary and treatment. In addition, promotion and establishment of ethical, sustainable, ecological, and healing relationships between the practitioner, the medicine, and the patient will be taught and encouraged. Applicants must either be Licensed Acupuncturists, or have at minimum a master's level degree in acupuncture.
