Prepare for a career in software development with a program designed to reflect how technology roles are evolving. Students build strong programming skills while also gaining experience in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and emerging areas like AI and machine learning. Employers increasingly expect developers to understand systems beyond code, and this program is designed to meet that need. Graduates are prepared for entry-level roles such as junior developer or application support, with a solid foundation to continue their education and specialize further in a bachelor’s program. This program offers an AAS-T (Associate in Applied Science–Transfer) degree focused on building a broad technical foundation. Students complete a shared two-quarter core with Cybersecurity, allowing exploration of both pathways. Coursework includes programming, cloud technologies, security fundamentals, and AI concepts, helping students develop the well-rounded skills needed in today’s development environments and to support future educational and career growth.
