Certified Production Technician

Certified Production Technician (CPT) is a nationally portable, industry-led program that prepares and certifies individuals for career pathways in advanced manufacturing. CPT certification consists of 4-5 stackable credentials: Safety and Employability, Manufacturing Process and Production, Quality Practices and Measurement, Maintenance Awareness, and Green Production. TMWG Classes: 35-40 hours, 5 day training via Zoom and online CPT Portal that includes online and interactive class instruction, self paced online books, training, and videos. Each student cohort will have an interactive class orientation, daily classroom teaching instruction time, and teacher access if there are issues or questions via instructor classroom hours. Students will test online for certification at the end of each of the 4 major sections of the CPT training, a section certificate will be issued for each section. The students have to test with a proctor and have to obtain a 75 percent or higher to obtain a certificate after each section, and after completing all the sections tests the student can obtain their CPT certification that can be mailed or printed by students. The Student Fee includes the price of registration, books, training, online portals, testing fees, and certification fees. Class size minimum to put on cohort is 10 students, class maximum per cohort 30. Certifications and Certificates earned in this class: 5 CPT Certification, Safety and Employability Certificate, Manufacturing Process and Production Certificate, Quality Practices and Measurements Certificate, and Maintenance Awareness Certificate* This class can be taught in English or Spanish and is cohort style. Training Award earned 5 CPT Certification: Safety and Employability Certificate, Manufacturing Process and Production Certificate, Quality Practices and Measurements Certificate, and Maintenance Awareness Certificate.
