JD Beauty Academy has implemented an Instructor Trainee Program aimed at providing licensed industry professional with the training necessary to become effective Instructors. The program consist of 500 hours of training devoted to the mechanics of teaching principles and techniques, designed to aid the student-teacher skills, classroom supervision and assessment. As a prerequisite to acceptance for this program, an applicant must hold a valid Washington Cosmetology License.
