Minimum qualifications must be clearly stated and applied in a nondiscriminatory manner [WAC 296-05-015(17)]. Meet the minimum age requirement of 18 at the time of application. Proof of age required. Must provide evidence of minimum age respecting any applicable WA state laws or regulations. Must be a high school graduate from a school accredited by a State Education Agency, or have a two-year Associate Degree or higher from a school accredited by a State Education Agency; and show evidence of successful completion of one full year of high school Algebra with a passing grade of C or better. Applicants will be physically and mentally capable of performing the essential functions of the apprenticeship program, with or without a reasonable accommodation, and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of the individual or others. Applicants shall submit all required application documentation within 30 days of date of application. Applicants not completing documents within 30 days will be required to reapply.
