Teacher Education

Lower Columbia College ETPL
You can be on the path to making a difference in your community by earning a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree in Teacher Education. LCC's program will help you gain the skills and knowledge needed to effectively work with young children and collaborate with professionals throughout the field. This program is tailored for working preschool teachers, para-educators, and those who desire to work with young children and prepare you for a career teaching in K-8 classrooms or in early childhood education settings. To qualify for admissions, applicants must have an AAS or AAS-T degree or the equivalent. The program offers two tracks: teacher certification (track one) and non-certification (track-two). The teacher certification option offers endorsements in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. The non-certification option provides specialized coursework for working with children and families in early learning settings.
