Incident Qualification Certification

First-In Responder Technical Academy/Kirkland
This course provides basic training to earn an Incident qualification certificate which enables students to seek employment as a wildland firefighter. This course consists of a minimum of 40 hours of online training with an additional 8 hours of fieldwork. The field day is sponsored and attended by local fire departments, DNR and Forest Service.
