The Bachelor of Applied Science Early Childhood Education program prepares students to serve in leadership roles in the early learning setting, working collaboratively with children and their families. The BAS curriculum will provide students with additional knowledge and advanced applications in early childhood education that build on the basic skills developed at the associates degree level. Students will enhance skills related to working with diverse groups of young children and their families, with an emphasis on language acquisition and early literacy, and leading program development through application-based learning experiences.
