Two year apprenticeship program to become a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. This apprenticeship program will train you to have a working knowledge of the operation, maintenance and cleaning of primary and secondary wastewater treatment equipment and facilities, wastewater treatment principles, safety rules, first aid, chemical handling, wastewater sampling and process control tests. You will receive 4000 hours of on the job training (OJT) and 288 hours of classroom instruction (RSI)

A high school diploma, or certificate of equivalency. Applicants will be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the occupation, with or without a reasonable accommodation, and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of the individual or others
