Two year apprenticeship program to become a Water Treatment Plant Operator. This apprenticeship program will train you to work in a water treatment plant. At a water treatment plant water is pumped from wells, rivers, streams, and reservoirs, where it is treated and distributed to customers. A water treatment plant operator runs the equipment, control the processes, and monitor the plants that treat the water. You will receive 288 hours of classroom instruction (RSI) and 4000 hours of on the job training (OJT).
