Early Childhood Education: Paraeducator - Initial

Green River College ETPL
The Initial Paraeducator Certificate is part of the Washington State Stackable Certificates and is the first step in preparing students for a job as a Paraeducator. The certificate is designed to build upon the technical courses required for employment as a Paraeducator within educational settings. It can provide a pathway into the Paraeducator apprenticeship program and/or teacher certification. The Initial Certificate includes coursework that enables students to meet the standards more efficiently. This Initial Certificate can stack onto the Paraeducator State Certificate and can transfer into the Paraeducator Associate in Applied Science - Transfer degree (AAS-T).
