Construction Industry Training Council of Washington ETPL
Students will heavily discuss load calcs-branch and feeders circuits; conductor selection and sizing and voltage drop calculations; overcurrent protection; and discuss distribution equipment for commercial electrical services including commercial load calcs. Students will undertake a detailed study of NEC Articles 500,501,502,503, and the introduction to the Definitions of Classified Areas/Hazardous Locations. All related NEC articles and RCW/WAC rules and all related code topics will be thoroughly reviewed. Emphasis will be placed on following safe working procedures. Lab date schedule will be provided at the beginning of the quarter. Scheduled dates may be adjusted at instructor's discretion. Total tuition: $1,070.00 (Eastern); $1,425.00 (Western).
