Students will learn to safely handle and place concrete and discuss the selection and uses of different types of reinforcing materials in concrete. An emphasis will be placed on following safe working procedures with concrete and reinforcing materials. Lab date schedule will be provided at the beginning of the quarter. Scheduled dates may be adjusted at instructor's discretion.
