Students will begin learning about properties of concrete followed by an introduction to trenching and excavating; foundations and slabs-on-grade; horizontal and vertical forming and procedures. The impact of green building procedures on foundations and forming will also be discussed. An emphasis will be placed on following safe working procedures. Lab date schedule will be provided at the beginning of the quarter. Scheduled dates may be adjusted at instructor's discretion.
