Students will be introduced to roof framing procedures then safely use carpentry hand and power tools to practice roof framing. Student will be introduced to building envelope systems including window and exterior door opening preparation. Students will finish the quarter with an introduction to basic stair layout and framing. Emphasis will be placed on following safe working procedures. Lab date schedule will be provided at the beginning of the quarter. Scheduled dates may be adjusted at instructor's discretion.
