Carpentry 102

Construction Industry Training Council of Washington ETPL
This course provides students with foundational skills in plan reading, tool use, and basic framing methods. Students will learn to interpret construction drawings, including plans and elevations, and apply this knowledge to hands-on lab activities. Emphasis is placed on the safe use of hand and power tools while constructing floor systems and wall and ceiling framing assemblies. Throughout the course, students will develop core competencies in measurement, layout, material handling, and jobsite safety, with a strong focus on following safe working procedures in both shop and simulated field environments. A lab schedule will be provided at the beginning of the quarter; however, scheduled dates may be adjusted at the instructor’s discretion to support instructional needs and student learning outcomes.   Please Note: Eastern Washington courses tuition varies, so please see the course catalog for Eastern Washington tuition rates. Also, the sales tax from county/municipality in which the training is taken may vary.
