This comprehensive course begin with covering general construction skills including safety, trade math, proper and safe use of hand and power tools, construction drawings, material handling and job site communication. The course will focus on a Laborer role in concrete placement, including site preparation, job setup and layout, estimating concrete, concrete forming systems, concrete placement, and concrete curing. A focus on safety will include OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR, Flagger Certification, and Financial Tools for the Trades will be provided as part of this course.
