Robert Lang Studios Academy offers an immersive one year audio engineering program. Our program is designed to provide students with a well-rounded educational experience that bridges the gap between academic theory and hands-on-training in our fully functional world-class studio. Housed within the legendary Robert Lang Studios, a landmark with a 50-year legacy of recording icons like Nirvana and Foo Fighters, our curriculum seamlessly integrates classic analog craftsmanship with modern digital mastery. The studio is your classroom. Students engage in training using professional industry gear including the SSL Duality and E-Series consoles to master tracking, mixing and mastering. This tactile experience allows students to learn signal flow and microphone placement in the same rooms where thousands of artists have recorded. Your instruction is from "wizard" engineers and producers that are currently working in the field. Students have the opportunity to network with a vast community of alumni and industry pros. Upon successful completion of our program, students earn dual certification. This includes the highly regarded Certificate from Robert Lang Studios Academy, alongside an Avid ProTools User Certification (covering PT101 and PT110) - both of which both are included in the cost of tuition. This ensures every graduate is both technically proficient and industry certified for the competitive recording market.
