Dental Assisting

Pacific Northwest Dental Assisting School ETPL
This comprehensive Dental Assisting Program is designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in the dental field. Through a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on laboratory practice, and real-world clinical experience, students will develop the essential skills needed to assist dentists in a variety of procedures. The program covers key topics including tooth anatomy, infection control, radiography, preventive care, restorative dentistry, and dental specialties. Students will also learn about OSHA standards, sterilization techniques, dental materials, and patient care practices. Emphasis is placed on professionalism, communication, and clinical competence. A 50-hour internship provides valuable exposure to working dental offices, allowing students to observe and participate in actual procedures. Graduates will be well-prepared for entry-level positions as dental assistants in general or specialty practices, equipped with the knowledge and skills to support the dental team and provide quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
