Completion of these courses earns a short term Electronics Certificate allowing the student to be qualified for entry-level work in a variety of industry sectors in the electronics field. Review of fundamentals of aircraft electrical circuits, generators, and power applications. Troubleshooting of aircraft electrical circuits through experiments and computer based modules. Conduct experiments with aircraft electronics; diodes; power supplies; rectifiers; voltage regulators; transistors; amplifiers; oscillators and multivibrator circuits; latches and flip-flops; transmitters; synchro systems; gyroscopes. This certificate is a prerequisite to the Avionics Technician Certificate.
