Construction Boot Camp

ANEW ETPL
Four week boot camp offering the certifications and training necessary to apply for a construction apprenticeship or get a family wage job in construction. Class includes forklift certification; flagger certification and OSHA 10 certification. The classroom work consists of classroom training including math, history of the trades, gender diversity, financial fitness. The shop work consists of identifying and learning how to properly use tools; building basics; shop safety; and measuring and design. In addition, students go on trade rotations to learn about different opportunities and industries and experience job sites.
