The Introduction to Industry Warehouse and Logistics Skills Training Program provides approximately twelve (12) hours of classroom instruction and hands-on training each week for eight (8) weeks. Classes are small, allowing for hands-on support in the classroom, and to qualify, students must be at least 18 years of age. This course prepares the participants for entry-level jobs in the warehousing and logistics industry as well as production and transportation. Students will complete course work in work readiness, in-depth discussions with area employers, visits and tours of select facilities and skills training in OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR, principles of LEAN and forklift. Participants will be attending online lecture and lab sessions to complete their assigned material.
