The Human Resources Management Certificate will prepare students to pass the first level of the certification examinations administered by Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). In addition, the certificate will help working professionals improve their HR skills and advance in their field. The primary focus will be on Human Resource Management Overview; Employment Laws, Regulations and Compliance; Talent Acquisition and Retention; Workforce Development; Compensation Plans; Employee Benefits; Employee Relations; Human Resource Business Partner. The certificate is designed to prepare students and working professionals for entry/mid-level positions in Human Resource or office administration fields.
