The Hearing Aid Specialist Training Program consists of 3 components in hybrid form to meet the requirements of RCW 18.35 and WAC 246.828. Component 1: International Hearing Society Distance Learning Course (lessons, quizzes and final exam). Component 2: Courses required under WAC 246-828 (online learning via professional organization partnership with audiologyonline.com. Component 3: 520 hours of supervised practical experience - provided in partnership with local businesses and licensed professionals.

Written Practical Exam test prep is available through the International Hearing Society. The program also offers Practical Exam test prep prior to each regularly scheduled exam. Practical Exams are offered each quarter.
