Minimum qualifications must be clearly stated and applied in a nondiscriminatory manner [WAC 296-05-015(17)]. Must be the age of 18 or over. Must be a high school graduate, have a GED, or the equivalent. Copy of such to be submitted with the Hiring Package. Must be physically fit to do the work of the trade with or without reasonable accommodation. (Applicants after being selected by an Employer to be registered as apprentices but before being employed shall at the cost of the training agent undergo a medical examination to establish physical fitness.) Must have military discharge under other than dishonorable conditions, if applicable. Copy of Military Discharge (Form DD-214) to be submitted with the Hiring Package.Is this program approved to train veterans?
