Prerequisite courses and other requirements

Minimum qualifications must be clearly stated and applied in a nondiscriminatory manner [WAC 296-05-015(17)]. Minimum of 18 years. Must be able to meet the requirements of the trade: Lift 10 lbs or less on a frequent basis and 11-25 lbs occasionally. Reach at or below shoulder level on a frequent basis and occasionally above the shoulder. Hand manipulation: simple grasping, power grasping and pushing/pulling. Continuous walking and standing with intermittent sitting, bending, squatting, kneeling and twisting. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation. Must be able to pass criminal background check.
