This program is designed to prepare participants for entry level positions within the competitive construction estimating and bidding arena. To receive the certification participants must pass 5 of the following courses within a 2 year period. Courses may be taken individually by participants that do not desire the certification. Choose two of the following courses: Introduction to Construction Estimating (self-paced); Essential Construction Math (self-paced); Construction Blueprint Reading. Required Courses: Estimating & Bidding I; Estimating & Bidding II; Construction Materials and Processes. All courses are endorsed by the American Society of Professional Estimators. Each course is made up of 10 lessons, require approximately 5 hours of seat time per week or 50 hours total, depending on experience. $515 per class for AGC Members/$565 per class for Non-members.
