The BA in Film Program offers a comprehensive and well-rounded education as it prepares students for fields and careers connected with film, digital arts, and emerging media focusing on the world of visual storytelling. Students choose a field-specific concentration: Filmmaking, Audio Production and Sound Design, Digital Arts, Game Design and Animation, Acting for Film, or Interdisciplinary Arts. The programs are designed to learn technical and conceptual skills in a collaborative environment. Students develop professional industry standard skills and best practices, learn the business of film and its related fields, and complete a capstone project in preparation for a professional career or further academic studies.

To be admitted to the BA in Film program students must complete the SFI First Year Experience program or already have completed an AA transfer degree or its equivalent. After admission to the program, students have the option to complete the remaining 90 credits for the BA in Film degree in the concentration of their choice.
