CDS will provide the professional instruction necessary for our students to develop the skills and learn the techniques essential in becoming safe, competent and productively employed Class 'A' commercial truck drivers. The CDL Class 'A' Course is 4 weeks long and offered in day and night classes. Our comprehensive, well-structured, 160-hour commercial truck driver training program includes one week in the classroom and three weeks of driving, backing and mastering the pre-trip in-cab inspections. Upon completion, students are tested for their CDL skills exam on-site.CDS will provide the professional instruction necessary for the student to become familiar with the specific procedures and vehicle operation required by the industry. The skills and techniques the student will develop and learn are essential to becoming a competent, safe and productive dump truck driver. The course consists of 20 hours of instruction including 4 hours in the classroom followed by two 8-hour days of hands-on experience delivering live loads to customers and pulling a pup trailer. The on-the-job training experience will prove invaluable as your first step towards mastering the dump truck operations.
