Our Massage Therapy program is designed to provide students with the knowledge, hands-on skills, and clinical experience needed to begin a professional career in massage therapy. This comprehensive program combines classroom instruction with practical hands-on training to prepare students for licensure and employment in a variety of healthcare, wellness, clinical, and spa settings. Students receive instruction in anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, pathology, massage theory, business and practice management, and therapeutic massage techniques. The program also includes supervised clinical experience to help students develop professional communication, assessment, and treatment skills in a real-world environment.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and complete the school’s admissions process prior to enrollment. Students must also meet any applicable Washington State requirements for massage therapy education and participation in clinical training activities.

Certification/license test preparation provided

Students in the program receive preparation for the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx), which is required for massage therapy licensure in Washington State. Test preparation is integrated throughout the curriculum and includes review of anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, pathology, massage theory and practice, ethics, client assessment, and Washington State laws and regulations. Students also participate in practice quizzes, class reviews, and guided exam preparation activities designed to help build confidence and readiness for the licensing examination.
