Must be at least 18 years of age (proof of age required). Must be a high school graduate from a school accredited by a State Education Agency; or have a qualifying GED score of 2500 or a High School Equivalency of 600 or higher after January 1, 2014; or have completed an Associate degree or higher from a school accredited by a State Education Agency; and must have completed one full year of high school algebra with a passing grade of C or better, or one of the following: Equivalent post high school algebra course(s) with a grade of C or better. Current math placement results from a community college facility indicating a placement level beyond high school level algebra. Must be physically able to perform the work of the trade. All applicants must have a qualifying score of 50 or higher on the Scheig Utility worker 1.0 test. The cost of the aptitude test will be paid by the applicant. Applicants shall submit proof of the education and age qualifications to the Committee before their applications will be considered completed. A checklist of requirements not met will be given to the applicant. CITC must receive proof of the deficiencies within 60 days of date of application. Applicants not completing the application within 60 days will be required to reapply.Is this program approved to train veterans?
