The Medical Assistant to Nursing Assistant Bridge Program is an intensive three-day course that aims to transition competent Medical Assistants into the equally essential role of Nursing Assistants within the healthcare team. This 24-hour program is structured to give students the critical skills and knowledge required to deliver exemplary care as Nursing Assistants. The program objectives for students are as follows: Personal Care Skills (8 hours): Students will enhance their abilities in providing comprehensive personal care with dignity and efficacy. These sessions are tailored to ensure that students are well-versed in the fundamental aspects of daily patient support, encompassing hygiene, mobility assistance, and vital sign monitoring.
