The Early Childhood Education (ECE) State Credential is the benchmark for Level 2 Core Competencies for Early Care and Education Professionals. The 52-credit stackable certificate requires Math, English, and Oral Communications as a foundation of the next step an ECE Associates in Applied Arts. Students who achieve this benchmark are on Step 7 of the Washington State Career Lattice.
