This short-term certificate provides students with both theory and practical lab applications in automotive, suspension and steering systems. Students gain experience in diagnosis and repair of the following systems and components: power steering and suspension systems including MacPherson struts and four-wheel alignment. This is one stacked certificate included in our associates degree in Automotive Technology. When students complete all stacked certificates, they earn a 2 year associates degree in Automotive Technology. If students wish to take more certificates but less than the requirements for an associates degree, we have shorter certificate options in Automotive Technology.
