Apprentices may be transferred by the Apprenticeship Committee from one contractor to another and from operation to operation in the shop of the tile contractor to enable the apprentice to acquire all the skills of the trade. Journey-level pay is $45.63 per hour.

Minimum qualifications must be clearly stated and applied in a nondiscriminatory manner [WAC 296-05-015(17)]. Minimum age is 18 years. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Must be able to perform the rigorous manual labor required by trade and have the ability to work safely at high elevations with or without reasonable accommodations. Valid driver's license. Social security card or other proof of I-9 (employment) status.
