This program will explore the foundations of early childhood education; develop knowledge and skills to ensure good health, nutrition, and safety of children in group care and education programs; apply best practice for engaging in nurturing relationships with children; build a functional understanding of the foundation of child development; and examine the principles and theories promoting social competence in young children.
